Denying trans women the Eucharist

Don’t chew gum at mass, ever.

That said, denying communion here feels very petty and uncharitable.

and furthermore there are countless sins of unconscionable shame that are practised with wanton publicity, yet not leading to the denial to encounter Our Lord in the Fullness of body, blood, soul, divinity.

Was she denied Communion because she’d been chewing gum — or because she’s transgender?
